The term “Explainer Video Company” is used to describe short videos created for a company’s website or blog. The aim of these videos is to provide a clear explanation about a product or service. Animated explainer videos are more effective than text-based ones because they use characters that show the product or service in a realistic situation. Furthermore, the brain processes visuals about 50,000 times faster than text. Thus, explainer videos are more effective when using content that is easy to understand.

There are various kinds of explainer videos. There are two primary types: animated and live. A good example of an animated explainer video is a Disney movie. We’ve recently had the pleasure of completing a BBC Commission on the Forgotten Suffragettes. This animation explores the actions and experiences of three lesser-known, but significant suffragettes from diverse backgrounds: Princess Sophia Duleep Singh, Annie Kenney and (Rosa) May Billinghurst. Each of them was present at the protest march in Westminster on 18 November 1910 that subsequently became known as ‘Black Friday’.
