Color printing on this LaserJet is another story. With only printing around 4 pages per minute, you will have to wait a bit to get your prints. It also takes a little longer to print the first page when it comes to color, about 28 seconds. In general, if you are doing a lot of color printing, you will have a long wait. But if you’re willing to wait, you’ll get vibrant, brilliant color prints with HP Color LaserJet 2550 toner.

Altogether, this printer is ideal for a small business that primarily has black and white print jobs with the occasional color printing. It is perfect for a small office environment with its small and sleek design that will sit nicely on top of a desk. We do not recommend this printer for higher volume printing needs.
