My internet marketing strategy
Here is my internet marketing strategy in brief. You want your campaign to be up and running. So the preliminary step in my internet marketing strategy is to research my audience for my industry. Within this industry group I would like to further narrow the niche. This niche is internet marketing and money making niche. So I need to meet the people who are looking to make money through internet marketing.
Next I ask what group of people is looking to make more money. I guess most people on the internet secretly wish they could crack the code to make money online. Who doesn’t want some more money? I try to put myself in other people’s shoes and watch them spend time researching “online income opportunities”, “make money writing articles”, “internet business”, “affiliate marketing”, etc. I see some of them at work but they absolutely hate their jobs and are exploring to earn online before they can quit their jobs. I see some of them hoping to earn a little more online.
These are the people who are just like me when I used to run straight to internet search engines after work every day. These are the people I can focus on because the product I’m promoting would be just as or even more useful to them than it was to me. So my audience is like me who is struggling to get into internet marketing like they once were and highly motivated to earn online like they were before. So, I would focus my promotion towards them. But what is even more important for me is to be on the ethical site. So I will try to give an honest entry on what I like and what I don’t like about this product that I am recommending to you.
In the next stage I think, expand and write the list of all audience groups that could possibly be interested in my product. So my list includes:
– internet sellers
-companies seeking to make a visibility on the Internet
-Advertisers (Google AdSense)
-advertisers (yahoo search marketing)
-work at home moms/dads
-people with website/web store
These are the most common audience groups or industries that I will pay attention to in my campaigns when promoting the product that I have to offer. However, I also have to be careful about the keyword chosen for the promotion. It has to be narrow and relevant and not broad and general if I want to have a better conversion rate. If my keyword reflects exactly what I’m promoting, those who don’t need my product won’t come. This is how I will get my niche audience. Therefore, I am not going to go for short cuts and the easiest route. Therefore, I will focus on relevancy and long-tail keywords that will immediately tell what the product is about.
Next, I’ll think of all those on the audience list that you may not have thought of. For example, office workers, students, retired workers, those with credit card debt, etc. All of them are possibly spending time on the internet looking for ways to earn some money. In other words, the relevance of the keywords to target is a critical factor in the success of the strategy.
