Tea "Get away" Game show
“Hi! I’m Don John and welcome to the” Get Away “game show where we ask two families to answer questions based on 5 topics they must select. Today, we have our champions from the last two years: the Poindexter family! ”
The crowd cheered.
“And here, we have a lovely new family for today’s game: the Reynold’s family!”
The audience applauded.
“Let’s meet the Reynold family from Akron, Ohio. I see a mom and dad and I have no kids. Sir, what’s your name and your pretty wife?”
Mr. Reynolds said, “Hi Don. I’m Henry Reynolds, but you can call me ‘Bubba.’ I work as a clerk at an Exxon gas station, and I love it, I love it, I love it. This is my very young wife, Katy. She works. at ‘Deja Vum’, a downtown striptease venue. ”

“I am George Peabody Pointdexter and this is my brilliant wife, Louisa-Jayne. We are from Boston, Massachusetts. We both attend Harvard University and teach there. I have a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and Chemistry. Louisa has a Ph.D. in classical literature. and Chinese. Yet I hate to say that he eventually studied for that degree at humble Yale University. ” Louisa rolls her eyes.
“We have some new news after being in the program. We have a little one on the way. His name will be William and he will go to the best schools and finally Harvard …”
“Okay George. We know your story pretty well. Now, as everyone who has seen this show knows, we ask each family one question. If they tie, we ask two more questions until one comes forward and wins the award .. . What prize?” Is that it, Ben? ”

Don looked at the question. “George and Louisa, what two scientists discovered DNA?”
George said as the pain in his neck started to hurt much more severely and he rubbed the back of his neck. He looked at the ground, “Wow! This crick hurts!”
“No! Sorry! It’s ‘Crick and Watson’!”
The audience is stunned.
“Now the next question is for the Reynolds … what theme do you want to choose?”
Katy yelled, “American literature.”
Don replied: “American Literature! … Question: Which author wrote, ‘This Gift of the Magi’ and ‘The Policeman and the Anthem’?”
The Pointdexters smiled, as they knew the answer. The Reynolds looked at each other. Tears began to roll down Katy’s cheeks. She laid her head on Henry’s shoulder and yelled, “Oh, … Henry …”
“That’s right!”
Katy and Henry looked up. The audience was cheering. The Pointdexters moved from their bleachers. “This was a setup! What about the million dollars you secretly promised us to stay in the game?”
As everyone applauded, Don said, “We have new champions and they are going to the Middle East!”
