The VIEW of a true leader

After more than four decades of involvement in nearly every aspect of leadership, including identifying, qualifying, training, and consulting with over a thousand actual and/or potential leaders, as well as personal service on multiple occasions, As a leader, I have come to believe that it takes a variety of assets, skills, mindsets and a positive, can-do attitude to become real, meaningful and effective. I mean these, like VIEW of a true leader, because it is a combination of factors that often set the best leaders apart from the rest of the pack. With that in mind, this article will briefly try to consider, examine, review and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is important.

one. Service; solutions; sustainable; strengthen / strengthen: What does service mean to you? Do you have the mindset to seek out the best workable solutions, emphasizing both being relevant and sustainable? How can someone be considered a true leader, unless he strengthens the group due to his service and representation? What attributes do you think generally strengthen the overall performance and relevance of any organization?

two. prospects; integrity; ideas; ideals/ideology; imagination; innovate: One of the key reasons professionally designed leadership training programs are and are needed is that it helps an individual possess the knowledge to act wisely and in a well-considered manner. Why would others follow, if they didn’t believe someone held the highest degree of absolute integrity? Shouldn’t a leader’s ideas align with the ideals and ideology of a specific group and its stakeholders? It is essential for true leaders to proceed consistently, with a well-developed imagination, and a willingness and ability to innovate, when necessary, to make changes – for the better!

3. Generate goodwill; Greater good; growth: greatness: In the quest to achieve greatness, it is important to consistently seek to generate goodwill and focus on the greater good and a true meeting of the minds. Only when this is the focus will a group achieve consistent growth, helping them adapt to future eventualities and challenges!

Four. Human; healing; heart head: If they constitute, they do not consider, their leaders, as humans, the necessary ingredient, which is to heal the wounds, and bring people together, for the common good, it becomes almost impossible! We need leaders who are ready, willing and able to balance their emotional and logical components, in a head/heart balance!

5. Prompt; time tested; confidence: Timely and well-considered action, combined with the use of time-tested methods and approaches, increases the trust that many have in their leaders!

Do you have the VIEW of a true leader? Are you up to the task?
