These Spicy Grilled Seafood Recipes Are Definitely A Must

Grilled Spicy Citrus Sea Bass

What do you need:

  • 4 sea bass fillets

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 small piece (about the size of a walnut) fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 1 small bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup lime juice

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 2 teaspoons lime zest

  • 2 teaspoons jalapeño pepper, minced

  • 1 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper

  • Sea salt to taste

In a blender or food processor, combine onion, ginger, coriander, garlic, chilli, olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, and pepper. Pulse until ingredients form a paste. Place the fish fillets in a bowl and lightly season with sea salt. Rub the paste evenly on both sides of each fish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

When done, season the steaks with salt again. Spray the broiler pan with cooking spray and cook the sea bass over medium high heat until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from heat and transfer to serving plates.

It is recommended to serve it with salad or roasted vegetables.

BBQ shrimp with garlic and paprika

What do you need:

  • 1 kilogram. shrimp, peeled, rinsed and dried

  • 1 large garlic clove, minced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of coarse salt

  • 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 lemon cut into slices

To make the spicy paste, mix garlic, olive oil, salt, lemon juice, paprika, and cayenne. Spread the paste on the shrimp and let it rest for at least 15 minutes. Place shrimp in lightly greased grill pan or roll onto skewers.

Cook on a preheated grill over high heat until cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to a serving plate and serve with lemon wedges.
