About gas stoves
Cookers that use liquid profane gas as fuel are called gas cookers. These have several advantages over the electric cooker and are therefore used more as compared to electric cookers.

· Cooking with gas is a cheaper option than cooking with electricity.
Food cooked in a gas oven does not dry out as in the case of electric stoves.
Food can be cooked quickly as there is no delay between turning on the gas and generating heat. Unlike this, an electric stove will take longer to heat up.
· Certain types of bread can only be made on gas stoves.
· You can adjust the flame to increase or decrease the heat instantly, which is not possible on electric stoves.

Gas stoves are prone to fatal accidents if proper safety measures are not taken. You should be careful about the following if you are using a gas cooker:
If the gas supply is through pipelines, turn off the supply at night and whenever you go on vacation. Similarly, you are using an LPG cylinder, you need to close the knob at night. Turn off the main power if you are going to be away for a while.
· You should immediately call a technician and disconnect the main supply if you suspect a gas leak. Open all the windows to get fresh air and don’t turn on the lights.
How will you take care of your kitchen?
Clean your kitchen regularly with soap and water. The burners should be removed and cleaned at least once a week. If oil has been spilled on the burner, soak the burners in warm soapy water. Ovens are usually equipped with a self-cleaning function. With this feature, the oven can be cleaned in two hours.
Have the gas range checked by a technician at least once a year. If the pipes or tubes that carry the gas are damaged or worn, they must be replaced immediately.

Gas cookers are available in various sizes. Commercial cookers are much larger in size with 8 to 10 burners while home use gas cookers will have 4 to 5 burners. Portable kitchens have one or two burners, with an LPG tank attached. These are commonly used while hiking or camping.
