An independent review from World Ventures

During the last decade there have been many “work from home” travel businesses. Some were very successful, others were not so lucky. Many of us remember YTB, one of the most successful companies that came under scrutiny after several lawsuits were filed in different states alleging fraudulent practices. They have weathered the storm; however, the controversy made it easier for some of its competitors to gain a foothold in the industry.

One such competitor, Plano, TX-based World Ventures, Inc., has enjoyed such success. Founded in December 2005 by two of the leading authorities in the network marketing and direct selling industry, Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue, World Ventures has proven to be an industry standout. That said, I am in no way affiliated with World Ventures and have no financial interest in the company. I am simply informing readers of my opinion.

Co-Founder Wayne Nugent is considered by many to be the most successful Independent Travel and Travel Related Services Network Marketing Representative.

For more than ten years, Wayne has made a living exclusively from network marketing. He has earned the top-level field position and the distinction of being the highest earner at four different companies. By performing at that level, it has developed organizations of more than 100,000 representatives spanning 16 different countries.

After receiving his Bachelor of Business and Finance from the University of North Texas in 1995, owner and co-founder Mike Azcue immediately pursued a full-time career in direct marketing. Mike became one of ten National Marketing Directors in an MLM called “Family of Eagles” and reached the # 2 position in revenue in his sophomore year. Mike also developed and trained a team of more than 100,000 people in more than 14 countries and was responsible for $ 50 million in sales.

Needless to say, Mike has earned his credentials as an industry leader.

Company CEO Dan Stammen began his entrepreneurial career more than 22 years ago in the direct selling industry. During that time period, Mr. Stammen built multi-company sales teams totaling more than 1.2 million representatives, which in turn generated more than $ 900 million in sales revenue. Mr. Stammen’s most recent business endeavor was where he created a sales team that created more than 660,000 clients for a legal services firm listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The company offers three packages to its members that give them the opportunity for affordable travel, luxury travel, and the opportunity to be an independent travel agent and participate in a lucrative compensation plan.

This “work from home” business ranks higher than 562 out of 665 companies in the MLM Rankings.com metrics database, a ranking of the 84th percentile. So if someone enjoys traveling, they have a few hundred dollars to spare. Investing in a small business and wanting to start, World Ventures may be a good option. The only downside that I can really see in my assessment of this business is that in this declining economy, fewer and fewer people have expendable income to spend on non-essential goods and services, which can cause the travel business to stabilize a bit. For a while. Other than that, I must say that the company is run by prominent leaders, well funded, and as of 2009, it has expanded into various global markets. Today, you could do a lot worse in the MLM industry than partnering with World Ventures, Inc.
