If you are planning to run Terror Zones in D2R 2.5, you will want to keep an eye out for Sunder Charms. These unique items have two main effects. First, they will reduce your character’s resistance to a certain element. Second, they will also break the immunity of a particular mob. However, they do not work with summoning necromancers.
To be able to use a sunder charm drop rate, your character has to be at least level 75. They will take up three of your inventory slots. In addition, they cannot be dropped from any normal monsters. Instead, they are randomly selected from Terror Zones.
Sunder charms are the latest item to hit the scene in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Although they’re not a part of the upcoming PTR release, they are available on the public test realm (PTR). As such, you can test them out.

While these charms are not entirely new, they are the most notable for their role in Terror Zones. Previously, sundering Charms had limited use on trap assassins. Now, however, they have become a viable option for many builds.
The best way to farm these charms is to get to an Act Boss in a Terror Zone. Each boss will have a chance to drop a Sundering Charm. It’s not a guaranteed drop, but it’s a good bet. When you’re farming an Act Boss, the uptime for that is often as high as 11 percent. This is a lot better than the usual 7%.
While there are no hard and fast rules for which mobs are the most likely to drop a Sunder Charm, it’s safe to say that Champion and Super Unique monsters are the best bet. Moreover, they can only be found inside of Terror Zones. Aside from this, there are a few other factors to consider. For instance, if you are doing an Uber in a Terror Zone, you might find that you can’t do the uber because the drop rate of Sunder Charms is too low.
So, if you’re going to farm these charms, you’ll want to do it in a hurry. You’ll probably want to get to the act bosses as soon as possible. Also, there’s a chance that you will be able to activate the Barbarian’s Find Items ability. Of course, you’ll need to restart your game if you do not see this change right away.
If you really want to farm these charms, you can try to pass all the Act Bosses while stacking Magic Find. Doing this will yield an impressive 4.3% chance that you will find the specific sundering charm that you’re looking for.
Other than that, there’s no surefire method for getting your hands on the sundering Charm of the Moon, the sundering Charm of the Heavens, or the sundering Charm of the Ring. However, you can also find these charms in some of the more random monsters in a Terror Zone. Even though they’re not as rare as some of the other charms, they’re still worth a look.
