The ‘greens’ are sandy, on the rough ones there are bushes and the grass feeds on rainwater. There are 16 rustic courses in Spain, some are 18 holes but most are 9 holes. You will find most of these rustic fields inland in places like Madrid, Castilla y León, Castilla-La Mancha, Barcelona and Huelva.
