Many people have asked about the existence of a Hawkeye Poster Official site. They assume that this is a promotional thing for Disney that gives away a free movie to those who purchase a poster from them. If that is the case, then why does it come with two parts? Why does the official site offer one and not the other? These are the questions that people ask and hopefully they get the answer straightaway!
The film that came out in theaters back in February of 2009 is one that most people will be familiar with. It is a remake of the successful film ‘Wreck-It Ralph’. This is the same film that inspired the hit Disney film’Planes Trains and Automobiles’. The plot of the film is about an escaped car thief ( Zac Efron) who finds himself in the town of Hawkeye Creek and tries to get into the US via the train.
The trailer for the film has just been released and you can find it sitting at the top of this page. You can also see some early clips of the film and learn some interesting facts about the characters and the whole story. But there is no information on when these trailers will air or what kind of information is on them. So is the Hawkeye Poster Official site offering anything?
Does It Live Up To The Hype?
No, not really. Although it is good to get any and all information that you can get your hands on and to be aware of what is going on, having such a resource on hand is not required. In fact, it is only offered as an option if you want to see the official DVD available for sale. The information found on this site is about the film itself, not the trailer.
Another question often comes up about how much of the profits from the official DVD will go to the actual producer and what kind of commission will he or she actually get. Disney does have their own production team for this project, but the money is said to be split roughly 50% between the producer and the director. It is unclear as to whether this percentage will change when it comes to selling the actual DVD or if they are still making their cut.
Hawkeye is set to open in theaters nationwide on July 18th. I will most likely end up going out to that date anyway. I am especially excited because I love both of the Harry Potter movies. While I’m not the biggest fan of the Harry Potter series, I do know many die-hard fans are as well. Hopefully, the film does live up to the reception it’s received so far.
