How to determine if you have vertigo

My friend was driving her car to pick up the children from school. The world suddenly turned around, she was a little dizzy, but she was sitting there in the car while everything was moving too fast… she was unexpectedly for a while, good grace, she hit the brakes. Vertigo is a type of dizziness experienced by most older people. Some women in their menopausal stage suffer from vertigo caused by hormonal imbalance. These are the symptoms of vertigo, if you experience any of these then it is not usual dizziness but vertigo.

1. Difficulty standing or walking properly due to dizziness. Weak limbs.

The best way to prevent an attack of vertigo is to get enough sleep. An ideal sleep of 8 hours at night and a nap of 1 to 2 hours during the day can minimize the symptoms of vertigo. It is also advisable to avoid stress. Stress can cause a hormonal imbalance that triggers an attack of vertigo.

Nicotine and caffeine can also trigger symptoms. It is best to stop smoking and avoid drinking coffee if you are diagnosed with vertigo. Coffee can cause serious sleep problems just like nicotine which inhibits sleep. Caffeine is considered a drug that can increase your heart rate, making you alert and nervous.

A friend once told me that her vertigo attacks get worse every time she has sex with her husband. Of course, I’m not saying you should avoid having sex as well. But I must note that the attacks can vary depending on the activity of the person who has vertigo. And sex can be one of the activities that triggers the attack.

In my friend’s experience, the seizure after sex caused her too much pain in her head, resulting in partial paralysis of her face. The number lasted about 10 minutes.
