NFL QB Power Rankings 2022

QB Power Rankings

There’s no doubt that quarterbacks are the most influential players in the NFL. But how do you determine which players are the best? NFL QB power rankings, updated weekly, are an important guide to the best signal-callers. We break down the NFL QB power rankings by position, starting with the top quarterbacks of each conference. Here are the NFL QB power rankings for the next five seasons. And check out the NFL QB power rankings 2022.

The Chiefs’ Pat Mahomes is the only player in the top-10 who isn’t already an AFC MVP. The Kansas City Chiefs QB rankings had a mixed year in 2021, falling to the Bengals in the AFC Championship game. His signature moment was a deep pass to Tyreek Hill in the flat with just seconds left in the first half. The Chiefs never recovered. So Mahomes has plenty to prove in 2022.

The Patriots’ Cam Newton is another tough one to rank because he’s been injured a lot. Last year, he went toe-to-toe with Russell Wilson, but could get completely blown out by an injury-ravaged 49ers team in 2022. The Raiders’ Derek Carr is also hard to rank because he’s at 100%. It is too early to tell whether or not he’ll play in 2022, but he’ll be back for at least one season.

The Broncos’ Russ Wilson is the third-best quarterback in 2022, but he’s already dropped off last year. He may have been part of the Seattle problem, but Denver’s supporting cast is stacked. If Wilson gets injured again, this is a good time to consider him as a legitimate candidate for the top NFL QB spot. There are two other QBs in the top ten of the rankings – Russell Wilson and Sam Darnold.

As for the quarterbacks in 2022, there are some nipples. While the top three quarterbacks in the NFL are still the same, there are several players who have gone through an incredible amount of success. While we can’t predict the future of Carson Wentz and his teammates, we can at least see a few new faces. One, for instance, is the backup who has won a Super Bowl. Another, who isn’t a top-10 quarterback, is Matt Stafford.

The second tier is full of backup quarterbacks. We haven’t been able to evaluate the backups, but we do have a few worthy candidates. Gardner Minshew and Jacoby Brissett are among those who could make a significant impact. And last, but not least, we have to look at the future of the NFL QB power rankings 2022. So, which quarterbacks will make the top NFL teams in the coming seasons?

Derek Carr has been a popular candidate for top pick in the NFL QB power rankings. He led the Oakland Raiders to the playoffs in 2021 and is expected to be given a massive contract extension. Despite this, he’ll likely get a new WR1, Davante Adams. We’ll know in 2022 whether he’ll take that next step. There are plenty of other candidates who are worth checking out, but the two aforementioned players should be considered top-five fantasy quarterbacks.
