Super HD Streaming and Airplay are now supported on NetFlix for iOS 7

This latest version of NetFlix includes some special features like playback and also some other stability improvements. Although this appears to be a “change of plans” on NetFlix’s part, however, it is good news for all Apple iOS 7 lovers. You can now watch all your favorite TV episodes and movies available on NetFlix in Super HD.

Previously, in the year 2011, NetFlix officials announced that they had no plans to develop a new version with AirPlay support. Instead, the company suggests subscribers use the dedicated app built for the same purpose on their Apple TVs. Now it seems that they have changed their plans and incorporated “AirPlay support” in their latest version.

This new version allows iPad, iPod touch and iPhone users to stream Netflix content directly to their devices without having to use any apps on their set-top boxes. The hurdle of navigating to the app on the set-top box in order to watch videos is said to have been completely removed with the arrival of AirPlay support in NetFlix 5.0.

Now with the help of the AirPlay streaming tool included in the new version, videos and movies can be smoothly streamed to your Apple TV. This no longer requires AirPlay mirroring, so users don’t need to be tied to any distracting apps while watching their favorite TV episodes or a movie.

NetFlix, an “Emmy” winning online service provider, has made it possible for all of its members to have access to “Super HD” streaming last week. But, this new update from the company has included the iOS 7 family in the bunch, which is great news for all the “Apple” fans.

This upgrading allows Apple users to view images in 1080p HD and the only drawback here is that they should be running the new iOS 7 on their devices. HD service also depends on the Internet Service Provider you subscribe to. The people, who have already hinted at the new version 5.0, claim that in order to watch in Super HD, a minimum internet speed of 5mbps is required. And to take full advantage of the service and get the best picture quality available on NetFlix, an internet speed of 7mbps is required.
