When I decided to get into internet marketing, my efforts were first focused on trying to select what I hoped would be an attractive niche market and then on creating the website and web pages.
By “niche market,” I mean a market where there is interest from a small but sizeable group of people (niche market) in a product or service and no one is satisfying their needs. My goal was to serve you and make a profit at the same time. This turned out to be a major task in itself that took quite a bit of time and effort.
There are so many expert sites on the internet that promise you the world but don’t actually deliver on their promise. Their main goal is to simply get your money, give you some data, and then leave you alone. Any information you are given is not complete. They tell you what tools you can use, but not how to use them effectively. They only give you half of what you really need, so it’s impossible to find a suitable niche market where you can really build a successful business. I downloaded their free PDFs, which they claimed they could sell for $97 and would tell me everything I wanted to know. This was the furthest thing from the truth.

Once I finally understood my proposed niche market, I proceeded to create a website. At first it seemed like a big task, but once I got into it, it was actually easy. I had to learn about HTML and mySQL databases, but this wasn’t as difficult as it seemed at first. I soon found out that my product was illegally downloaded and not paid for. Some forums had a direct link (hotlink) to my download page. All people had to do was copy this link onto their website. They could then use this to illegally download my product again.
I had signed up with PayPal and thought my website was secure. The only thing that would be safe would be the money he got. Unfortunately, my income was small because my product was downloadable at no cost. It was obvious that he needed security against loss of income, as well as for revenue collected. You can’t make a profit if people can download your product without paying for it. I soon also found out that even people who paid and downloaded my product would also download it more than once, taking back my profits.
It soon became apparent that I had to have some form of protection to give my website security. Being a newbie to internet marketing, my budget was slim to none. I had to find ways to protect my website without costing me, as they say, an arm and a leg.
Once again, I searched the internet for help on website protection and security. There are many people on the Internet trying to sell you high-priced security along with monthly fees, but none of them tell you what security features are available to you on the Internet at little or no cost. It seemed like a never-ending task.
Fortunately, after some deep research, I was able to find some very good websites that would help provide you with ideas on how to protect your website. The information was not always complete as they also had to earn money, so they gave enough information to whet one’s appetite, which was not bad at all. By developing this information, I was able to find some free ways to provide decent security for my website.
Soon I was able to monitor my website for:
– IP address of all the people who try to hack my website so they can be traced.
– Security alert when people illegally download my products and steal potential income from me.
– Security actions to be taken immediately when I suspect my website has been hacked.
– The date and time of the illegal access to my website in order to filter all hacking attempts made on my website.
I finally found the best cheap security for my website.
On a final note, our website can be made 100 percent secure. No matter what people tell you or how much money you spend, you can never make your website completely secure. The news is full of stories where hackers have broken into banks, insurance companies and many large corporations. You can be pretty sure these companies spend a small fortune on security measures, but someone can still penetrate your barriers.
