What are some of the best places to visit in India?

I recently organized a vacation for one of my friends in one of the best places to visit in India. They had already traveled to India and spent time visiting the forts and palaces of Rajasthan, as well as the unspoiled backwaters of Kerala. At the top of his wish list was a gentle adventure vacation off the beaten track.

Fortunately, I was recently on a fantastic holiday to central India exploring the spectacular Kanha National Park in search of tigers and hard-earth swamp deer, followed by an unforgettable experience of cycling through the rural roads of central India.

Central India is well connected by air from Delhi and Mumbai. My friend took an internal flight to Jabalpur, where they were met by a driver who took them to the spectacular Kanha National Park, one of the largest national parks in India. During their stay, they enjoyed two daily game drives, keeping an eye out for the elusive tiger, the barasingha, and some of the 200 species of birds found in the area. The highly knowledgeable camp owners accompanied them on each safari to ensure they had a memorable wilderness experience.

After an excellent safari experience in Kanha, a highly experienced support team that I pre-arranged for my friend made his cycling adventure a success. One of the team members accompanied them and the rest of the group made sure that the mobile camps were set up before reaching each destination.

My friend and his family cycled through the pristine forests and tribal villages of central India and deeper into the land of Gondwana: the tribal countryside of Chhattisgarh. It is a magnificent walk through the agricultural valley, flanked by forested hills and inhabited mainly by Baiga villages.

The highlight for them was staying in their own mobile camp with comfortable cotton mattresses, clean sheets and duvets. Bathing water was heated and cooks prepared a local meal, which was served around a campfire. A truly fantastic experience of a lifetime…

The next day, they cycled down the Chilpi Ghat to reach the Bhoremdeo Shrine, where they stayed at an owner-managed lodge, which was an ideal base from which they could walk to the 11th-century temple complex, which exhibits carvings. erotic characteristics of Chandela’s works. of Khajuraho.

After an excellent cycling experience, they traveled 2.5 hours to Raipur to board an internal flight to Kolkata. I thought this was a great extension to your vacation. Kolkata is very well connected by direct flights from Raipur which is the hub of India.

I organized a very interesting walking tour of the city’s great mix of cultures for them, tracing their origin and remains. The tour included a visit to famous buildings, including the Victoria Memorial, the Botanical Gardens and Mother Teresa’s Missionary of Charity.

After an active week in central India, I arranged a few days in a colonial bungalow on a 1,600-acre tea plantation for them. They relaxed and enjoyed the stunning scenery and serenity that Glenburn is so famous for before heading home.
