Upon checking in at the The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, guests must present valid identification and their booking credit card to be checked in. They can also check-in remotely by clicking here up to 24 hours in advance, and receive a confirmation email when their suite is ready for them to occupy. Once the suite is confirmed, they can skip the front desk and head straight to the Guest Assistance line to pick up their key.

In order to replicate the look of Venice, the designers used a variety of authentic materials and commissioned artisans to create the artwork. For example, the ceilings are decorated with over 1,000 frescoes, and the gondolas at the Grand Canal Shoppes were built by actual gondoliers from Venice. The main lobby is completely frescoed and has a massive gilded sphere held up by four golden women.
