Why detox should always be the first step

Detoxification is the first step in my plan and book. Today is still the day. We use those first two weeks of the plan to do a gentle detox. People over the years have wondered why this is the first step. It’s pretty simple: we live in a very toxic world, and toxicity really messes up how our bodies work.

Recent research now shows that toxicity is implicated in a number of other conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, obesity, autoimmune diseases, as well as cancer, arthritis, gout, lupus, and fibromyalgia.

We are inundated with toxins from fluoride in dental products and the water supply to glyphosate that contaminates our food supply, preservatives and artificial sweeteners, medicines, cosmetics and personal care products, flame retardants and electromagnetic fields (EMF). of cell phones, computers and other electronic devices. Let’s not overlook toxic emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and relationships, as they all affect our physical health as well.

Because we live in this world, some or all of them will affect us to some degree. So what can we do? Much! We can be intentional in choosing the highest quality, organic, grass-fed, finished foods we can find and afford. A study conducted at the University of California found that eating organically grown food for just 6 days significantly decreased toxins in the body by an average of 60.5%. I don’t know about you, but that is amazing to me and it seems like a very simple step to achieve such an impressive result.

Avoiding artificial preservatives, additives, sweeteners, and processed, packaged, and fake foods will go a long way in quickly reducing your toxic load.

Of course, increasing clean water and fiber will help flush toxins out of your body. Increasing your intake of healthy fats, including omega-3 fats such as fish and krill oil, grass butter and coconut oil, and eliminating toxic fats such as margarine and seed oils like canola, they will also help the body detoxify and heal.

Being aware of stressful, negative, and toxic emotions, thoughts, and relationships and finding effective ways to deal with them, such as EFT, will also reduce your toxic load.

By cleaning up your diet and lifestyle in some intentional way, you can gently detox and kick-start any other changes you want to make. Isn’t it worth eating healthy for two weeks? It is such a simple and doable step and you will be amazed at how much better you feel. I invite you to contact me and we can discuss how I can help you do this.
