Here is a list of some of the most popular movies on college campuses; having at least one of these babies is sure to make your bedroom the place to be for any Saturday night.

While this movie probably didn’t invent the concept of outrageous, half-naked frat pranks, it certainly elevated it to an art form. John Belushi gives an unforgettable performance as ‘Bluto’ Blutarsky, the human embodiment of frat life. Others like Kevin Bacon and Donald Sutherland complete the cast.

You almost certainly won’t be in college more than five minutes before someone starts quoting this hilarious camp farce. A favorite on most college campuses, humid hot american summer tells the story of the last day at summer camp and the search for Coop (Michael Showalter, wake) to win the heart of Katie (Marguerite Moreau, the oc). Ridiculous, wacky, and full of witty one-liners, it’s a must-have for any college student.
3. super soldiers
Who knew the life of a Vermont state trooper could be so entertaining? A favorite late night movie, super soldiers It’s got everything a college student could want: a trailer full of pigs, cop rivalries, and more bar mustaches than you can shake. Written, directed, and starring a relative unknown Jay Chandrasekhar, this movie is sure to leave you laughing.

5. The Godfather
It is a universally recognized truth that almost every college student on this side of the Atlantic has owned, seen, or can quote this film. Celebrated for its originality and power, this movie has stood the test of time and has become one of the top three movies of all time. The story of the Corleone family during the heyday of the New York mob is poignant, sometimes terrifying, and always entertaining. The cast includes Marlon Brando (On the Waterfront), Al Pacino (Scarface) and Diane Keaton (annie lounge).
6. The princess Bride
“My name is Íñigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” Chances are you’ve heard this line at least fifty million times from people who love this movie. Well, now you’re in college; Time to see what all the fuss is about. Once you’ve seen this work of romantic, adventurous, or comedic perfection, you’ll be quoting it too. Starring Cary Elwes (saw) and Robin Wright-Penn (I’m Sam), with a special appearance by Billy Crystal (when harry met sally).
7. Scarface
The only rags-to-riches story involving a desk covered in cocaine, this film is a favorite among college kids. With a tough young Al Pacino, Scarface tells the story of a Cuban immigrant determined to succeed in the Land of Opportunities by becoming the biggest drug trafficker in history. But remember kids, don’t do drugs, let Al Pacino do it for you.
8. the breakfast club
This movie is definitely the ultimate ’80s teen drama. Five high school students find themselves in detention and spend a day learning about each other and themselves. With Emilio Estévez (that kind of mighty ducks), Molly Ringwald (sixteen candles) and Anthony Michael Hall (Edward Scissorhands), the breakfast club assures everyone that a mastermind, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, and a criminal can become friends.
9. The graduate

10 annie lounge
This film is widely recognized as Woody Allen’s masterpiece. It is the story of a neurotic New Yorker obsessed with death (Allen) and his love affair with the lovely Annie Hall (Diane Keaton, Someone has to concede). Fun fact: Diane Keaton, who at the time of filming was romantically involved with Allen, was born Diane Hall, and her nickname was Annie!
