Cleveland Metropark Zoo: What to Expect

A zoo is where people can see different types of animal species displayed to the public and in which they can also be bred. In fact, it is considered one of the most visited places in the world; almost every country has at least one. For example, in Northeast Ohio, Cleveland Metropolitan Park is considered the largest must-see zoo in the country. It is divided into 5 geographical regions:

Cleveland Metropark Zoo Rainforest. This section has its own two-story building in which the animals reside. Also, it has its own fake rain showers and trees where the animals could experience a bit of a real rainforest. If you want to have a look at those leopards, anteaters, crocodiles, fish and turtles, you can go downstairs. On the other hand, in the 2nd level there are anacondas, pythons, orangutans, birds and bats.

African Savannah from the Cleveland Zoo. Become a vet for a day by entering the section of this museum. Interact with lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, rhinos, and flamingos in this area.

Northern walk. If you are looking for entertainment with your family and loved ones, you can visit the Northern Trek region where you can find polar bears, wolves, tigers, reindeer and seals. You can feed them or let them sing for you.

Australian Adventure at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. You can take a ride on a train from a ride. Check out the koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and native sheep and goats in this section.

Primates, cats and aquatic animals from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. If you like apes, cats, and aquatic life such as piranhas, fish, sharks, and lemurs, you will certainly enjoy a walk through this section of the zoo. This is also considered one of the most difficult areas to traverse. For that reason, the zoo offered the tram for visitors to enjoy the animals and the views.

Cleveland Metroparks also has a waterfowl lake where adults and children can feed, play with and touch the animals with the help of a staff. Not only that, as technology evolves, the Cleveland Zoo has its Robotics Dinosaurs attraction that displays lots of useful information about dinosaurs. Plus, Cleveland Metro Park has its own amphitheater where you can catch another entertaining Professor Wylde experience after a nearly perfect day’s tour.

The zoo offers unlimited packages for adults and children at a reasonable price. For tickets and inquiries, feel free to visit the Cleveland Metropark Zoo website.
